IYK* is a web-3 company that bridges the physical and digital worlds by using NFC and blockchain technology.
In developing the visual assets of IYK’s brand, we went through an extensive exploratory phase to craft a visual language that translates the brand’s core offerings: the connection between physical and digital worlds.
Centering around the idea of “portals,” we can visually communicate the crossover into digital spaces, building 3D environments that feels hyper-real-tangible while integrating subtle surreal elements. To enter this world, users must go through or interact with IYK* discs and tags.
Since then, we have developed a wide range of motion and still assets, ranging from product renders, to world expansions, to digital fashion assets and NFTs.
3D Product and Motion Assets for IYK* Discs and Tags
IYK NFTs: Water Light, Metallic Chrome, and X-RAY.
To create these assets, we developed custom 3D t-shirt models with the IYK* tag, as well as unique X-RAY materials to showcase the technology behind the garment.
Incased within custom surreal materials: iridescent water, metallic chrome and iridescent glass.
We developed custom X-RAY and iridescent materials to uniquely transition between opaque and X-RAY modes, revealing the technology underneath and showing the connection between the physical and digital ability of the garments.
